Appearances do matter in this world. The first thing people notice is the looks and hair are the most crucial part of your looks. Bad or no hair can affect your personality profoundly. It is an essential asset for a person, still hair- loss is quite common.
Even though hair thinning is incredibly common, it can be immensely distressing for some people. It is strongly associated with physiological strain, crippling depression, and traumatizing anxiety.
It is never too late for anything. Hair thinning is a sluggish process, meaning you still have enough time to figure out the solution. Causes 
Hair loss is a continuous process. You are unaware that you lose up to 100 strands of hair daily. If you start losing more, then it is unnatural and a serious problem. The older you get, the severer this problem becomes. There are many reasons for it. Let’s look into them. Because of genetics (heredity pattern hair loss) The signs and symptoms of heredity pattern hair loss are there in almost every person. The person starts to notice the signs around his 20s. Over time this condition gets worse usually. It would be entirely appropriate if we say that it is a part of the natural aging process. Another popular name for it is androgenetic alopecia.
In males, it results in receding hairline, crown formation and loss of hair from the top of the scalp. It happens with a pattern. At first the hair starts thinning in an area, and it continues. Eventually, when enough hair falls out, the end-result is baldness.
While in females it results in thinning of hair. Females lose a considerable volume of hair, and in some
cases, they also experience baldness. It happens because of some genes and levels of hormones.
Because of the Phycological strain
Being in stressful circumstances can lead to significant hair loss. The stress makes the hair roots weaker
and vulnerable. The more fragile hair then quickly falls out, causing loss of volume.
It is usually a temporary condition. If you get rid of your depression and stress, then hair fall may stop.
There is also a high chance of regrowth, and you have to toss out your troubles.  
Phycological problems may lead to a complicated condition as “Trichotillomania.” The person suffering
from this disorder has an irresistible urge to pluck out their hair from any part of their body (usually
from the scalp). As a result of anxiety-driven hair-pulling, the patient may have bald patches.
Because of Alopecia areata
It happens when the immune system fails to function properly and attacks the parts of the body (hair
follicles). Because of this immune system abnormality round, bald patches may suddenly appear on a
person’s body.

The patches can appear anywhere, including eyebrows, scalp, beard, mustache, etc. In some instances,
the hair usually grows back naturally. But in an extreme case, a person may go permanently bald. The
worst-case scenario here is that the patient may lose all of his hair from the body.

Having bad habits can lead to troublesome hair thinning. To avoid that you need to drop some daily
unhealthy activities or practices such as:
 Poor diet: For the proper maintenance of hair, the body requires nutrients. If you fail to provide
it, then your hair will likely fall. 
 Overdoing heat styling: Regular Heat styling can damage your strands and leave them dull, dry
and frizzy. To prevent that from happening, use heat protective products before using heat
products like iron curlers.
 Not enough sleep: Being sleep deprived can lead to hair thinning as well. When you are not
getting enough sleep, then body-stress level increases. As mentioned already stress can cause
considerable hair loss.
 Not covering your hair in sunlight: Overexposure from sun radiations can leave your hair
scorched. Sun-damaged hair is prone to fall out easily.
 Brushing too much: When you brush you are pulling out hair from their roots. When you overdo
brushing, it can cause hair loss problems.
 Not consuming enough vitamin D: Deficiency of Vitamin D can cause hair to fall out as well.
 
How can we treat hair thinning? 
For a variety of reasons, both men and women suffer from hair loss. There are many treatments, but
their effectiveness varies greatly.
Medication 
Several medical drugs are in practice to treat hair fall. Some effective ones include:
 Minoxidil: It has proved to be beneficial for both androgenetic alopecia and alopecia areata.
People must take it on regularly for months to regrow the hair. It has many side effects,
including irrational skin allergies.
 Corticosteroid injections: It is exclusively for alopecia areata patients. Doctors inject steroids
into the scalp where there is a bald patch to stimulate hair growth. The success rate of this
treatment is not so high.
 Immunosuppressants: It is for people who suffer from an autoimmune disorder which can lead
to baldness.
 Antidepressants: For people who are suffering from phycological issues. As stress can cause hair
loss, antidepressants can fix it.
 Vitamin D capsules: Consuming vitamin D capsules can help you treat the source of hair
thinning, which is Vitamin D deficiency.

Hair Transplantation
Surgery is another option for people who are fed-up with being bald. In this process, hair from anywhere
else from your body is taken and implanted in your scalp. The implanted hair will lay the foundation of
new hair to regrow. The implantations fall out after a while, and over time new hair grows instead.
Home remedies 
Home remedies are not just hoaxes. They have proved to be effective in providing required nourishment
to hair, causing the hair to regrow.
 Egg protein treatment: Provide nutrients directly to your scalp. Make a hair mask using 1 egg
white and teaspoon of honey and olive oil. Apply and massage for a while. Do it thrice a week
and notice results.
 Aloe Vera hair treatment: Applying Aloe Vera gel directly to your scalp. Leave it for 45 minutes
before rinsing it with cold water will help you enhance hair growth.
 Massage using essential oils: To improve the hair growth massage essential oils such as almond
oil, peppermint oil, rosemary oil, lavender oil on your scalp. Doing it regularly will boost your
recovery.
 Coconut hair treatment: Take coconut milk and massage your head. Leave it for a minimum of
20 minutes. It may promote new hair to grow.
 Sunbath: Staying indoors may leave you with vitamin D deficiency. To deal with it, sit in the sun
regularly to gain sun-vitamin.
 Massage your scalp: Massage daily using your fingertips. It will stimulate blood flow, which will
boost hair growth. 
 Correct your diet: Consuming nutrient-rich food i.e., egg, fish, nuts, etc. will provide energy and
inner-nourishment that your body needs to restart hair growth.
